CNN Money’s Best Credit Cards Part II

Continuing our feature on CNN Money’s review of the best credit cards, here are the three remaining categories and the winners for each.
Best Credit Card For Frequent Flyers
For those who like to use their credit cards to earn extra miles, CNN Money recommends the Citi Premier Pass, a card similar considered by many to be the best miles reward option in the market. It offers one of the most lucrative rewards packages, apart from having no annual fee.
With this card, you can redeem any points you earn as plane tickets on any airline, with no restrictions (any seats, any date). As an owner of the Citi Premier Pass, you get 1 reward point for every dollar purchased, one point for every three miles flown and another reward point for your companion’s ticket (if bought using your credit card).
Best Credit Card For Retirement Savings
While not a very popular credit card package, ones that facilitate savings for retirement can be one of the most important cards you can get. The Fidelity Investment Rewards from Visa encourages savings perhaps more so than any other credit card I’ve seen.
You earn effectively a 1.5% cash back on all purchases, regardless of categories. Once you reach $75, the money is automatically deposited into an account under your name with Fidelity Investments.
Best Credit Card With Low Fees And No Hassle
If you are afraid of incurring serious debt on credit cards due to high fees and unexpected surcharges, CNN Money recommends getting issued a card from either a local bank or a credit union. Commerce Bank’s credit card, for instance, allows for late payments of up to 31 days without any charge. Similarly, the Union Card we featured not long ago allows you up to two late payments.
