72 Best Credit Cards For Internet Marketing Part I: Small Spenders

If you are an internet marketer who looking to dabble in PPC advertising, you might want to consider changing to a credit card designed specifically for your needs. There are a number of them available right now and if you’re not using one, you could be leaving serious amounts of money on the table.

The first part of this two-part series focuses on two credit cards designed for small PPC spenders. Both cards are from Advanta.

Advanta Platinum Business Card For Online Marketers

This cash-back card was designed specifically with PPC advertisers in mind, offering 5% rebates on all expenses incurred in Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN Search and eBay fees. Now, if they can only add Facebook and Myspace to the mix, they’ll be rad!

Here’s the catch: the 5% cash back is capped at the first $1500 you spend on all the four services combined (for the month). After that, you get 1% rebates on all expenses. This is great for entry-level internet marketers looking to get their feet wet in PPC but probably too restricting for the pros.

Advanta Kiva Business Card

This one’s a bit (a tiny weeny bit) better. It offers similar 5% cash back on online advertising services (there’s no official list, but it is assumed that the big three PPC networks are covered), along with office-related expenses like gas, computers and utilities. Additionally, it offers zero APR balance transfers for the first 15 months. Cash back is similarly capped as the Platinum Business Card, however.
